Sara DuMond, MD, FAAP

Founder/Chief Medical Officer

Sara DuMond is a board-certified pediatrician. A 2000 Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of West Virginia University Medical School, she completed her residency in Pediatrics at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte in 2003. She practiced general pediatrics at a private group practice in the Lake Norman area for seven years, before opening Pediatric Housecalls in 2011. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the NC Medical Society. She has served on the Advisory Board for American Baby Magazine, WebMD, and Little Ones Magazine, and has been a contributing expert on Kidshealth.org. She is married, has 3 children, and she hates when they get sick, too! She is an avid runner and loves traveling and cooking.

Ryan O’Leary, MD, FAAP

Board-certified Pediatrician

Ryan O’Leary is a board-certified pediatrician. After finishing medical school at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, she completed her residency in Pediatrics at Primary Childrens Hospital in 2002. Dr. O’Leary attained her board certification in Pediatrics later that year and joined a private practice soon thereafter focusing on general pediatrics in the Lake Norman area. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is married with 3 children and enjoys reading, exercising, and being with her family.

Mandana Morales, MD, FAAP

Board-certified Pediatrician

Mandana Farhadieh Morales is board certified in pediatrics. Born and raised in the Chicago land area, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University, her Master of Science from University of Illinois and obtained her medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University. She completed her pediatric residency at Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital. She was a partner physician for a private practice in Illinois for over 19 years. She also has telemedicine experience working for Doctor on Demand, Teladoc, and Amwell. She was recently recognized as Top Doctor in Illinois. She and her family have decided to start a new chapter and have moved to Fort Mill, SC. She is licensed in Illinois, South Carolina and North Carolina and is excited to start her new career with us. You can also find her on www.findatopdoc.com. She is married and has a daughter. She loves to run, cook, read, and travel. Her and her family enjoy hiking, biking, and traveling and are looking forward to living in the southeast and exploring all it has to offer.

Michelle Brody, DO, FAAP

Board-certified Pediatrician

Dr. Michelle is a board-certified pediatrician with over 20 years of experience, she is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her Pediatric Residency was completed with the Jefferson Medical College/DuPont Hospital for Children’s residency program, followed by a year as co-chief resident. She practiced in a small group practice in Gettysburg, PA before taking a position as an office-based pediatrician in the Lake Norman area, where — as many of you know — she has been a beloved fixture in the Charlotte pediatrics community for over 20 years. Dr. Brody is married with two daughters and several pets. She loves boxing, working out, walking her dogs, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with her family

Melissa Jesse, PNP

Melissa Jesse is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner with over 17 years of experience in the field.  She initially completed her BSN at the University of Florida.  After working in the pediatric intensive care unit, she returned to the University of Florida where she graduated with her MSN in 2004 and received her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification. Since then she has worked both in outpatient and inpatient pediatrics. Melissa is married with 2 children. She dances with a Charlotte based contemporary dance company and enjoys spending time exercising, hiking, and camping with her family.

Allison Berger, PNP

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Allison Berger is a pediatric nurse practitioner who has been working in pediatrics for over 15 years, including as a pediatric RN in primary care, pediatric urgent care, and the pediatric ER. She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill (Go Heels!) with a Masters degree in nursing and began her career as a pediatric nurse practitioner in a pediatric urgent care setting. She absolutely loves working with kids and it is truly her passion! When not at work, she is usually spending time with her pug, Benny, or with her boyfriend. They love spending time outdoors, trying new restaurants, and traveling.

Rebecca Santos, MD, FAAP

Medical Director, Northern Virginia

Rebecca is a board certified pediatrician who received her medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine. She completed residency at Inova LJ Murphy Children’s Hospital in Falls Church, VA where she continued on as an attending physician before moving to Charlotte, NC. She was a general pediatrician for over 14 years and worked in a pediatric urgent care in the Charlotte metropolitan area. She is thrilled to be back in Virginia to serve the local community doing what she loves as a pediatrician.
